The witness series guns are all a great buy for the money. It seems like every year they are bringing out a special run of one sort or another. Afew years back these were the rage in ipsc circles. The mags are worth $30-40 each at this point, I wouldn't want to get more than $300 in the pistol my self, because many of these were used really hard. Also with the comp it will put you in open division which may not be the best place to get started due to the competitiveness. Someone had new ported 9mm's for under $300.00 recently becaus ethey were discontinued.

Your EAA Witness Gold team could be worth anywhere from $1000-1500. These were special custom pistols with extended safeties, checkered front and backstraps, squared trigger guards, beveled magwells and drilled and tapped for a scope mount. Unfortunately, yours in .40s&w is in a less desireable caliber compared to 9x21. Still, while not considered state of the art in IPSC anymore, it's still competitive.

Ignore whoever said it was worth only a couple hundred bucks. That might be the case for a plain Witness, but not a gold team. But if you do believe him, I'd be tempted to offer $500 for the gun and hi-cap magazines.

I have to disagree with MPOLANS. Basically from what I've read you are selling a worn out POOR condition gun. It will need several hundred dollars in rebuilding. I'd sell the magazines seperate, and see what you can get for the pistol. But there's no why a reasonably experienced gun person would pay $1000-1500 for it.

Oops, my mistake. I didn't see the part about needing a new barrel. Knock a couple hundred bucks off for that. In that case, I'd be very tempted to offer $350. Interested?
