Commander vs Combat Commander

I have an opportunity to buy either of the two. They are both in the same condition and the same price. The Commander of course is a lightweight with an alloy frame from the 70's. The Combat Commander is an all steel satin nickel series 70. Which would you choose and why.

BTW, the owner will only sell one, that is why I have to choose.

I would be very happy with ither. If I could only have one I would chose the light weight commander. Because it is less weight. My 2 cents [8D]

    Go with the lightweight.

The satin nickel on the 70 series Combat Commanders shows scratches like crazy, and there is nothing you can do short of refinishing the gun.

If you're going to just use it as a plinker/shooter, I'd go with the Combat Commander.

If you're going to use it as a carry gun, go with the lightweight.
