OK, Now what do you think about the Franchi O/U's? They are nice to look at, anyone tried one for a few thousand rounds?

Thanks,

Rob

Only up to about 500 rounds. Perfect fit for me. Shoots were I look. When I look in the right place.

I'll stand with the ol' Varmit Hunter any day. My experience is similar. Mine was built in the late 60's but I bought it new in the box last year. After a little choke work by Briley, I started shooting skeet. A few hundred rounds in, it is still tight as new, shoot where I point it, the barrels are well regulated. Franchi was recently (last few years) bought by Beretta, so they should still be good shotguns.

My heros have always killed cowboys.
