.22 question help?

was going throu the war locker today to look at my guns and etc.i was looking at the rifles my grandfather gave me before he pasted away,he gave me two mausers from ww2 one german ,one french,i know both of them go for about $250,but in there was a 22 he gave me its a m-49,.22cal,short,long,long rifle made by ithaca it's a single shot gun,but is a lever action,this gun is very old so i took it to a couple gunshops here in town to see how much it is worth they both wanted to buy it from me but told me they didnt know?,1 shop wanted 2 pay me $50and the other $150 but i told them it's not for sale .does any body know how much it is worth

    these where neat little guns , my cousin had one back in the 60's , my book shows
    Model 49 Saddlegun- made 1961-1979
    22.cal lever action single shot rilfe with 18.5" barrel, fixed sights, alloy receiver and hardwood stock, it was also offer in a magnum version in 1962
    NIB -- $200, Exc. $150, VG. $125
    they also made a Deluxe Grade and a Presentation Grade with are worth more ... hope this helps

    Not a lot of value there. I have one, and it's a nice shooter. Don't think I'd part with it.

    this gun is not for sale too many memories first gun i ever shot but this darn thin is so darn accurate
