The Class III dealer from whom you buy your suppressor will have you fill out the necessary BATF form.

Suppressors are stamped with a serial # by the manufacturer, and that # is registered with BATF. The suppressor, not the gun, is the part that is tracked by BATF. So, you can use it on any gun (of the same caliber) that it fits.

Fitting a suppressor to an AR-15 and a clone can be a problem, depending upon exactly which models you own. You will undoubtedly need the services of a gunsmith. At this point, I recommend that you take your guns in to your local Class III dealer & discuss the options with him; since he stands to make a substantial amount of money off of you, I am sure that he will be glad to assist.

Expensive fun isn't always fun, but it's always expensive.
