I have an 1100 20ga that will not chamber my reloads out of my ponsness warren.I have no problems with my other guns and find that the chambers are .006 to .007 larger.Ieither need a chamber reamer or can I take a brake cylinder hone to it and keep checking while cautiously honing? Thanks,JEFF

Generally, auto loaders already have a looser chamber so that they cycle more freely. We had some problems at our clays range by guys using "pick up " shells out of pumps and not bothering to full length resize. You might also check to see if you are trying to squeeze down the crimp too much. Not all shells are exactly the same length nor are wads. You might also be sure to check to see that the chamber is absolutely clean. you can get a chamber brush (usually one gauge larger than the barrel will work) and just clean the chamber itself. Any auto is going to be a little more finicky about ammo and rem 1100's seem to occasionally have problems with reloads.
Good gun and all, just one of their quirks.

Before you start honeing away your money.......I would find some one who has a MEC 20 ga. and have them load a few of your hulls....then rule out the gun or press....Is the gun chambering but not full closing or is it only closing half way?........john.........
