Python/Diamondback Frame Size Question

What's the difference in the size of the frame between the Python and the Diamondback in .22 cal.?

    Pythons are made on the I Frame which is a medium-heavy frame. There were supposedly some Pythons made in .22 caliber, but I've never seen one. They would be very heavy (heavier than the old S&W K-22 which was a full size target revolver.) The Diamondback was built on the D Frame. It's smaller and lighter, being made for .38 Spl and .32 New Police caliber revolvers. It's somewhat bigger than Smith's kit gun but reasonable comparable.

    The only thing worse than lawbreakers, are lawmakers.
