i don't think any one on this fourm will give or can give an exact value of any gun with out seeing and handling it. i collect iver johnson firearms and never quote any thing but a value range with the disclaimer depending on condition. on the other hand if i am able to see and handle an iver johnson firearm i can tell you what i think it is worth to me( which may or may not be what some other collector or shooter would pay for it).

Thank You for your responce........I am NEW to THIS forum.....

what I was looking for is a ball park figure, of the " approximate " value of the weapon.

With all due respect, I would say you , being a collector of this brand of shotgun, you might be able to give a rough estimate of what this shotgun MIGHT bring in an auction.

Again THANK YOU for responding, snakeman

As much as I hate to say this, your little gun has almost no following among collectors. Even the fact that it's a .410 means almost nothing.

These pieces were made to be affordable weapons and not much more. They sold new for under $5.00 and a gazillion have been made, sold, and abused over the last 100 years or so.

The wholesale value of this type of firearem in used, but good mechanical condition, is about $35.00. And that's IF you can find a buyer. You'll see price tags at shows for two and three times that amount but those guns seldom find new owners.

being a .410 gives this gun more (value-interest)than if it was a 12 ga.For a gun of this type i would say,the price could run from only a few dollars in fair condition to perhaps a high of 100-150 if in almost new condition. This is my opinion only.based on what i have seen similar guns sell for.I do not claim to be an expert in this field, but hope this helps you some.

Realistically, I would guess $30-$60 depending on condition. I have one of their 16 ga. and a similar but different brand 12 ga. and I paid $45 and $25 respectively. I do collect a lot of Iver Johnson pistols but only a few shotguns/rifles.

Plain jane is one thing, but keep in mind that "by the book" the
410 double "SKEET-ER" lists for over.....$3,000! Not that I'd be the one to find one in an attic.[^]
