Twist Rate for 22RFM vs 22LR

I see some aftermarket barrels out there chambered for 22RimFireMag are offered now in 1:14 twist. I used to see them in 1:16 twist. I have also heard of smiths rechambering 22LR barrels to 22RFM with good results. What is the opinion on this these days and which twist rate do I want to buy for better longer range plinking and small critter killing.

Hello 98 even though many 22 lr have been converted IMHO it is a bad idea as the bore size as well as twist is different between the two. I would go with the 1 in 14 twist for a new barrel.
