Mark V Sten Machine Parts Kit
Country Guns
Member Posts: 88 ✭✭
I bought a quanity of military items from a licensed FFL dealer's estate sale. With these items was a Mark V Sten Gun parts kit I think. This was a de-mil version and the magazine well has the Model and had the serial number. The serial number has been drilled out without drilling through the magazine well. Is this a legal item?

The prudent thing is to cut whatever remains of the tube into many small pieces & put them in the trash. The remnants of a cut receiver will do nothing to increase the saleability of the parts kit.

The cuts must be at least 1/4 to 3/8 inches in width, the wider the better.
Using a saw is a no, no, they want "BIG GAP CUTS", making it harder to reweld back together.
