I also have a Winchester Model 80 with a 24" octagon barrel and a serial number of 655078. Help dating this one too??

You sure of the model number?[?]
If it's a 1890 it was made about 1922 [:)]

If it is a Model 90 with serial number 655078, it was made in February or March of 1920.
