Trying To Identify this old rusty revolver

Trying to find out anything I can about this revolver that was given to me. It looks most like a Rast & Gasser but not sure. One friend thought it looked like a Webley. The only markings I can make out is a
1."M" just above the pistol grip
2. Mre d'Arme L'Etienne engraved below the cylinder
3. I think a serial number of sorts "F58943" on the cylinder and just above the pistol grip on the opposite side as the "M".
4. There are some markings on top of the barrell but cant make it out well enough to venture a guess.

My friend thinks it may be a .45 black powder service revolver from the late 1800's to the early 1900's

I have a picture of it but not sure how to post on this page. If you would like to see it email me and I will email the pic to you if you think you can help.
Thanks,

Does it look like this? If so, it is a Chamelot Delvigne and you can find out more about it by going to the website from which the photo came.

The L'etienne sounds French to me.

Yep that is the one. Except mine is from 1875, now that I know where to look I found the date on the barrell. Thanks so much. Anyone have suggestions on cleaning it up or new parts? The lever that pushes the cartridge out is missing it looks like.
