Barrel looks too long for a 44, 91/30 maybe.

gotta go with sporterized nagant.....maybe bead blasted and refinished, thus the lack of markings.

91/30, stock has been cut down, front sight isn't issue. Can you post a clear close up of the top of the receiver and chamber area of the barrel? All those numbers and stampings will tell you a book full.

I would not want to argue, but I would say it is a stock removed Italian Carcano. Either in 6.5 0r 7.35, you would need to mic. the bore.

Mosin Nagant M91/30 Or clone. It shoots 7.62x54R if the barrel hasn't been changed.
