New Kahr's do NOT fire out of battery

In the past I have commented a couple times about Kahr pistols firing out of battery as it had happened to me. After my last comment in this forum I got curious and since have examined both the new steel model and the new polymer model. I found that neither of these pistols will fire out of battery. I don't know when the design was changed, but felt a need to clarify.

Out of battery I believe means that it'll fire without the bolt or the slide in the fully closed position.

Annoy a liberal by working hard and being happy.

rldowns3 is correct. When it fires without being fully closed the case blows out where it is exposed and in my case, blows the extractor into neverland. The gun isn't permanantly damaged, but I suspect you could be. The gun is pretty much disabled until repaired. I don't know when Kahr made the improvement....
