!851 Colt Replica Fail to Fire

If this is a new gun it shouldn't be your problem. Bring it back. I had a cased 2nd Gen Colt Pocket Police. where the hammer didn't reach the nipples and the mould didn't close without a gap. Colt made good on it.
If you're stuck with it make sure the wedge is in far enough to take almost all the endplay out of the cylinder. Don't use a hammer. If all caps still don't fire remove the barrel and note where the hammer strikes the frame by using a black marker.
Remove about 1/64" from the inside curvature of the hammer in that area with a Dremel, allowing the hammer to come forward.
