I recently purchased a Verona O/U LX501 12 gage and was wondering what other chokes are made to fit this gun. I have found Briley chokes are reommended as replacements but what other options do I have. Thanks.

Verona shotgun chokes were made by several different companies under contract. My 28 had chokes made by Briley as well, and I had Briley make the additional chokes I wanted. Probably the other makers could make you chokes if you send one of yours for sizing. Try calling whoever you like. Probably trying to fit a Rem or Win choke is not the best plan. It really should be fitted.

Thanks HeDog for the response. I was mistaken in my initial post. The model is the LX502 which are specially made for Dick's sporting goods. They are the same as the 501s but have the silver engraved receiver like the 692 models. I just got an email back from BC Outdoors who distributes the Verona here in the states and they also were very helpful. Best of luck with your verona.

Glad to offer what little help I could. I have e-maild BC Outdoors several times with out receiving a response. Maybe I will try again now that I know someone is home. Enjoy yours as well!
