Can anyone tell me what a Winchester Model 1895, lever action, .30 Army caliber with 101 Ranch medallion on stock is worth? thanks

I have a Winchester 1895, all original, serial number 65927 with a "B" below the number. .30, 24" barrel, lyman site, checkered fiddleback walnut stock, barrel 90% blue, Receiver and magazine 35% blue. I'd like an estimate on how much it's worth.

    Thanks,
    Ray

A friend is trying to value a couple of older Winchesters, and having some difficulty.

The first one is a Model 1895 in 303 caliber. Its a saddle ring carbine with a 16" barrel. Diamond symbol on the lever and the number 23. Looks like the barrel may have some pitting. I think the serial number is 51283. Any ideas when this was made and its approximate value.

The second one is a Winchester model 94 saddle ring carbine in 32 caliber. This one has a 20" barrel and a Redfield peep sight. Barrel looks good but the stock and receiver are rough. Serial 517019.

I would appreciate any assistance that you may offer.

    joebarbier,

    Welcome to the forum.

I don't believe that the Model 1895 Winchester was ever mad in
.45-70. I believe that Marlin made an 1895 in .45-70. Are you sure of the maker? Let us know.
