I recently purchased an M4 Sight at an antique auction that I am not sure what it is. It was listed as an elevation sight. I believe it is from WWII. It is marked Sight M4, Stock No. 7579927, Serial No 102595. It has two levels. The case is leather marked Graton & Knight Co with wood on the bottom and is especially made for the sight. Outside of case is marked D29377 M14 Carrying Case. I listed it on eBay and it was removed as an assault weapon part. I need to know exactly what it is so I can properly sell it. Any info would be appreciated.
