Have a 1916 V CHR Shilling Rifle...Looking for some info on it. It has been in the family for years wondering what this rifle would be worth. It is also stamped with the numbers 8084

Along about 1916, VC Schilling was making Gewehre 98 rifles for the Imperial German Army.

Unfortunately, I have no clue what you may have. Imagine someone asking you "I have a '79 Chevy, tag number XYZ. What's it worth?"

If you would research a bit on Gunbroker looking for rifles like yours, perhaps you question could be answered.

    Try Mauser, Model 98, etc.
