SAKO, garcia era, age?

experts how can i tell the age or can you tell me the age of my sako 7mm mag, finbear L61R, serial 762XX,or a web site to age my gun, thanks in advance again!!!

    Look on the bottom of the barrel just in front of the stock..does it say garcia? If so it is not pre garcia (1972).

    Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a listing anywhere that gives the date of manufacture by serial number for Sako rifles, Garcia or Pre-Garcia. There are some folks that know when they bought their rifles and the serial numbers and are thus able to give some pretty good "guesstimates" of date of manufacture in some cases. Maybe someone will come along that might be familiar with your serial number range..... Good Luck!
