Yep! Here's my 581 ... my very first Remington was a 511 - got it back in '55 on my
10th birthday! Got the 581 later in '70, I believe. Very reliable and smooth shooter!
My grandkids really like shooting it.

I love mine. It shoots well and likes Remington Subsonics. They are sort of plain as opposed to the 541's, but mine is a good shooter.

If you're interested, the 580 series Remingtons are among very few .22 bolt action rifles with locking lugs on the bolt, rather than using the base of the bolt handle to lock up.
Mine is very accurate.
