Cheap single action army.

I was watching The Good, The Bad, The Ugly the other day and it reminded me of how I've always wanted a solid single action pistol, something that tamed the west. What I never realized was how damn expensive they were. Basically what I'm looking for is a decent single action pistol that will fire a .45 Long Colt round but I really don't want to drop over 500 bucks at the moment. Are there any cheap, basic, plinkers out there that I can pick up? I'm not looking for anything top of the line but I also don't want junk. Also, if it's chambered for the Long Colt round will I have any trouble feeding a .45 ACP round through it?

you would need a second cylinder that is chamber for the 45acp round,Ruger made several of their line up that came with both cylinders , in both their Blackhawk line which is a revolver with a adjustable rear sight or the Vaquero which is their basic cowboy type gun
P.S. if You send me your email address I'll send You a Photo of what I recently Did to one of EMF's .45 Long Colt Six Guns....

For about $150. (including shipping) you could have a fun full size SA pistol that cheap to shoot.
The Good The Bad and The Ugly is supposed to take place during the American Civil War, in which case the proper revolvers would be black powder cap-and-ball, such as the Colt M1860 Army and 1851 Navy and the Remington New Model Army. Uberti versions of those models usually go for less than $300. In the movie, the actors use cartridge conversions of the C&B revolvers (incorrect for the period!...No surprise) Currently there are cartridge cylinders for the above C&B models, but the cylinder will likely cost as much as the gun did.
IIRC, the Cabelas BP revolvers are made by Flli Pietta, not Uberti.
