We have a 1929 Hercules 410 sold by Montgomery Ward. Just wondering if we should mess it up by rebluing and refinishing? guess on worth?

If it is the double barreled model with a checkered stock and a casehardened frame, leave it like it is. In hunting condition, its worth $350. In refinished condition, maybe $450, but it would cost you much more than that to do a proper rust blue on the barrels, re-caseharden the frame and refinish and re-checker the stock.
