kalinka scopes

looking for information on the quailty of kalinka scopes, would like to know if the ppo 5-20x50 fs sniper scope is a good piece or not. cant find much info on them.

    The lack of responses indicates that shooters here are not familiar with the Kalinka scope. That in itself only indicates that people stick with what they know. It sounds Russian, and generally speaking the Soviet bloc optics tend to be heavy, roughly made and not to have the sophisticated coatings common on Western European and US scopes. An exception is IOR Valdada which is heavy and not cheap. You can be our test driver, and please report back your impressions, or you can stick with known quality scopes.
