is there anyone out there that has a used bi pod i am jsut getting into this and just want to try one out so let me know what ya got and a price thanks alot

My brother's M1A has a Harris bi-pod. Its solid and sturdy. I don't know how much he paid for it, but he did get it off of GB. It makes me want to add one to my M1 Garand.

When shooting off the bench I prefer using a bipod and rear sandbag. I really only like two different brands of bipods. Harris, and Versa-pod. Versa-pods are awesome because you put the base on the swivel of your rifle, and you can attach different leg lengths, or just remove the legs all together quite easily. Harris bipods attach to the swivel, but kinda seem to I just keep'em on the rifle all the time because they aren't so readily detached as teh harris legs. Harris bipods don't tilt and swivel like the versapods either.

Ill through out the SNIPE POD its lighter than the versa pod and you can carry various lenghts with you in the belt pouch.
