Mauser Magazine Spring Interchangeability?

I have a 1908 Brazilian Mauser that is missing the magazine spring.

GunParts has springs, but is sold out of the 1908 Brazilian.

GunBroker has Mauser magazine springs, but nothing specifically for the 1908 Brazilian.

Seems to me a Mauser is a Mauser, but I don't know. Will another spring work?

Not only any M98 spring, but other similar style springs can be adapted. Such as the 1917 Enfield and Winchester M70 springs.

    This.

1908 Brazil Mauser was made in Germany side by side with the other Mausers of the day and except for the cartridge and a few minor differences (eg rear sight) is basically the same as any other M98 Mauser.

I'd bet the mag springs for these literally came out of the same factory bin as the other contemporary Mausers.

While I'm sure you could get other similar springs to work too, since '98 Mauser springs are so readily available and inexpensive, unless you happened to have another compatible one lying around, I don't see a good reason to use something else.
