Has anyone seen, shot, have any firsthand knowledge of this rifle? I sure don't need another c.f. rifle, but for the price, it looks like something I should have. Maybe a .270 to take into the woods on rough days when I don't feel like exposing the Sako's to bad weather or lots of rock hopping.

Trying to find information about this rifle. How is the mag. box attached to the receiver? Is the bolt handle separate from the bolt? (like the savage 110 etc) Anyone have hands on experience with this rifle? Thanks.

Anybody had any experience with the new Marlin Xl7? I have seen a number of articles on it and they are all very positive. Great adjustable trigger. Accuracy hanging around 1 inch. good looking, light and price is right at just over 300.00. Comments anyone?

Contact the customer service reps at Brownells. You can get their number off the web site. Before calling them, be sure you have all your ducks in a row, vis a vis, caliber, model number, serial number, hole spacing etc.

You might also want to go to a base manufacturer like Leupold, or Weaver, and look at their charts for proper base model number. They might just be the same as the Winchester Model 70...Hint...Hint...Hint

Incase you missed the hint, they are the same as for the Winchester Model 70.
