I purchased A Taurus Raging Hornet that was advertised factory new. When received I noticed discoloration on the barrel side of the cylinder, Is this normal for a new piece that would have been test fired. I know this has been dicontinued for about 3 yrs. There is no cyliner wear at all on the outside. I'm new to revolvers so excuse my ignorance. Thanks in advance

Does anyone have any experience with this gun? There's something intriguing about a pistol that shoots a rifle cartridge.-MArcus

I have had this gun for a couple of weeks and it feels very nice for a smll bore hand cannon. It barely moves when fired. When I have time to use it more I'll post my thoughts. It sure is a head turner. Regards

I got really interested in the Raging Bee until I discovered .218 bee ammo sells for about $65 a box. .22 hornet is much more reasonable, but the only one offered on GB is asking over $700, which would be too rich for my budget. Cool looking revolver though and I have been very happy with other Taurus models. Go for it if you can find a price you can live with.
