rong, is only partially correct. For hunting you are only allowed a round in the chamber and 5 in the magazine except for the 22 rimfire which has no restrictions. As many in the mag as you want for anything else in either rifle or handgun.

If you're target shooting, there are no restrictions that I'm aware of. We often use 30+ rd mags here.
