what semi auto shotguns could be fitted with a folding stock?

Choate made after market folding stocks for a number of guns. Had one on my Thompson Contender and Mini 14. Don't recall if they made any for semi-auto shotguns though.

Folding stocks for shotguns are very limiting in usefulness, IMHO. Had a original Remington on a 870 years ago. It looks cool to all the gunshop commandos, but firing it with the stock extended was no fun. The steel strut would whack you in the side of the face on recoil, enough to make your eyes water.

    +1 to that.

Anyway, to answer the question, the Saiga is another semi-auto shotgun that can be fitted with a folding stock.

Turkish made Hatsan escort semi-auto shotguns can be fitted with folding stocks.

You *might* be able to modify a folding stock to work with a Mossberg 930.

Edit: I found one place that lists a folding stock capable of being fit to a Remington 11-87 semiauto.

Also, they've been discontinued for many years, but I believe you could put a regular Mossberg 500 type folding stock onto a Mossberg 9300.
