I just came into a nice S&W .38 special. This pistol is in nearly excellent shape . I was told that it is a 1905 4th change, it has no model number on it and the serial number is stamped on the bottom of the butt(275568). I would like to know if this is what I was told it is and if so what it's approximate value is.
