[xx(]Not the loads, [:D]just the person asking! I want to make "Zombie loads" for several 12ga shotguns (these are OLDER guns (so, no hot loads). I have 500 federal shells(plastic), S""t load of Green dot, and a 75 lb drum of Daisy Boo Boo BB's (screw-ups). I just want to kill, not blow into the next state?? [:o)]Large kids and [:X]Ladies will shot these. Servival loads ??? Thanks

BB's are steel. Make sure that either the barrels are cut, or the choke is removed from the end of the barrels. Old shotguns were manufactured specifically for lead shot. Loading them with shells using steel BB's might cause catastrophic failure, at the choked portion of the barrel.

    No.
Steel shotgun shot is very mild, soft steel.
Airgun BBs are pretty hard, maybe harder than the average shotgun barrel.
Maybe if you had some of the thick steel shot wads and a cheap gun you did not mind ruining, you could try it.

Green Dot is too fast burning for steel shot of any sort.
