Hastings barrel for A5

There is a Hastings 12 guage rifled slug barrel for an A5 shot gun for sale on Ebay. The seller says it is for a 2 3/4" gun. Does that mean it will not fit on an A5 that will shoot 3" shells or just will not shoot 3" shells if installed on a 3" gun? Thanks in advance. P
