Hi, Experts. Saw an ad for an old (DOM 1913) Winchester Model 94 saddle ring carbine identified as a,"Belgian Congo", Winchester. It has sling mounts on the left side and the rear sight is marked in meters. Anybody know what this all means? Thanks Jim

In 1913 Belgium contracted for 200? Model 94's for issue to troops in the Congo. Ladder rear sight marked in meters, sling mounts, gumwood stocks, Belgian proofs, all chambered in .30 WCF.
Bert can probably tell you more.
I would be curious as to what the serial number range was on those 200 rifles.
