So what it say's in a 2012 book is a pre war k-22 which has micro click sight and round barrel w/o rib but the sn# for them are 682,420-- to 696,952.................but the post war K-22 say's it has a serrated ribbed barrel and a sn# starting with a K prefix.. so im lost ????

Obviously the barrel has a rib, and the serial number has a K prefix.

    What is confusing you?

Pre-war, with round barrel, no rib, and micro sight, would be the K-22 Outdoorsman, if I am not mistaken. I have a friend who has both.
