I have a 1941 mint Winchester mdl 62 A .. I see very different prices on these when I look it up ..Any help ?

PS - it's not "unfired". It was proof fired, function fired and sighted in at the factory.

The point that was being made, is that there is no such thing as an "unfired". All Winchester rifles were fired at least 8-10 times at the factory. Whether or not the original (or subsequent) owners fires it is a moot point, and it has no bearing on the value.

In that condition the original box will add greatly to the price.
How much do you think the box will add ? I have one from 1950 NIB.

Based on those pics there is no way I would be calling it "unfired", or even "new" condition. Can you post a close up pic of the proof mark on the barrel and receiver?
I believe the guys are right, it has been completely refinished. And, the work was not done by a professional restoration company like Doug Turnbull. For what it's worth, my SWAG is that it would sell in the $300-400 range.
