can anyone help me with trying to fit a bm59 collapsable on my polytech ? can this be done? is it drop in? or major work? always liked the bm59 look, thank you

Not worth the effort or cost imho.
the bm59 folder is worth a pretty penny in it's original form, converting it will really deflate its value.
Better to look for a springfield armory m1a folder on the used market, probably worth the same as your bm59 folder and would be a wash as far as cost goes.
thank you in either case and i kind of figured that
they are rare, but are out there, just like the bm 59.

It doesn't seem to me to be a good idea to put a wire stock on any high power rifle. You need a good, solid cheek weld on a stock to 1) properly align the sights, & 2) dissipate the recoil. Yes, it will look "cool", but it's just not practical.

The Springfield M1A folder is NOT a wire stock
I bet you are thinking of the m1 carbine folder
