An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.

Ah now, the Model Cars that you built as a kid don't count![;)]
That was entertaining. I didn't know the recoiless rifle had that much back blast. I have one of those empty perforated cases, a relative bought it at a garage sale for me.
I fired one at ROTC Advanced Camp. They lined up six jeeps side by side, each with a recoiless rifle mounted, and had us fire all of them at the same time.
The blast was terrific. Couldn't see where round went -- everything turned kinda green and vibrated for a few seconds.
wicked weapon at either end[:D]
I have an LR4, and now I know that if someone is shooting inert tank rounds at my vehicle, the engine block will stop the first one.

Your definition of a direct hit is obviously different than mine.

I don't think I'd be using it as cover in any case.

didn't even blow out the windshield.
Probably because a a significant amount of the energy was involved in splitting... the engine block.

A direct hit would have been in door , passenger compartment.

That is a 5,500+ Lb. vehicle, and it looks like the front end was moved over 3 feet.
Better for cover than most, but yes, I would not want to put in a position where I needed it for cover.

Note that the inside of the car was in great shape, anyone inside
would have gotten out alive with just a nose bleed.
Hit that car with a M230A1 HEAT shell and the real fun begins!!
