Around here {mid Tenn.} those go for little money too.
Lots of people bought them as the hottest new super shotgun.
Then realized they weren't so great and sold them.
    A regular Mossberg 500 3"er is more wanted than those 3 1/2'"
    monsters.

i agree, the bid is on the high side, a lot of good things about the gun, as in the back bored barrel and nice wide vent rib. it just doesn't feel good in hand tho. unbalanced to the point you need to force it to stay on target.. a lot was sold to goose hunters because it handled the 3-1/2 12 gauge, to those getting into the sport when it regained populariety...the next year the LGS was swamped with them traded in on better quality guns.

Despite the factors mentioned it went too cheap. I sold a couple of 20ga pumps on GB recently. They also went to cheap and I wish I had kept them at the price I received.

Looks like it is more of a buyers market at the moment rather than a sellers one.

One other thing that hurts the sales of $200 - $250 guns at auction is the shipping cost and transfer cost to a non FFL buyer.(most of the sales)
