Just sick of being asked..........

by every cashier at WalMart if I want to donate to this or that.

What kind of commission does WalMart make on those donations?

I'm sure they aren't doing it for free.

Ok ~ end of short rant but it just bugs me to be always asked.

BTW: Just announced WalMart is eliminating door greeters at over 1,000 stores and replacing some with people able to lift about 50# or ? so can actually perform real work.

A lot of retail outfits do this.

My guess is that they can use the collected monies in some way to lessen their tax liability, but I do not see how.

I try to stay away from Walmart, too much chinese crap.

I needed a set of snap ring pliers and I paid $4 more for a set made in the US by Chanel lock.

How hard is it to answer "not today, thanks" and carry on your way?

No one should be surprised, we've been told for YEARS that as wages go UP the number of employees will be reduced by investment in automation or ???

So less cashiers, less greaters BUT more positions will be opened for workers who can preform tasks that requires different labor skills, like lifting and stocking,, older/retired workers will be released.

    Stocks up .9%

Fast food, expect more automation or lower preforming stores "closed">

And those lanes with cashiers are to the back of the store!
So apparently many people don't care for that lack of service from self service.
    I don't.

Well what the hell, one guy complains about the cashiers he gets, the next that there is no cashier. No way to win with you guys.

Allot of the stores do it Dollar General did the other day. I generally don't donate due to I think they are using it as some sort of tax write off saying its their money. But I could be wrong. Its the conspiracy theory I run with. But once price match went away I go to Walmart allot less.

I'm on autopilot to say "no" when a checker is asking something at check out. I wonder how many times I missed out on free sex?

I prefer: "Why would you ask a question like that?"

Most get a dumb look on their face.:lol::lol:

Won't miss the door greeters, just sitting on a stool and/or chatting with a buddy.

All of the companies that do that get on TV or a large newspaper announcing they're donating X amount of dollars to XX cause, it becomes free advertising and makes them look great donating "your" money :o . The abuse of the system really pisses me off

I had an online order from walmart to pick up at the store. Walked in and got my stuff. Was walking out and an employee asked to see my receipt for some reason. I just said no and kept walking. Walmart sux for customer service.
