The divide between Republicans and Democrats seems to get wider by the day. Many on either side refuse to use common sense or logical thinking to consider alternatives or any compromise. This simply serves to put the country into gridlock. We taxpayers pay Congress members millions of dollars to work for us and in return, we get nothing of substance.
Since Donald Trump was elected President, the Democrats have done everything possible to destroy him, his family and many of his associates and appointees. Frankly, I cannot think of a single thing the Democrats have done to enhance the United States nor it?s citizens. Despite that, Donald Trump has accomplished some of the issues that he promised when running for office. The issues most said was impossible like a booming economy, the huge increases in employment, new beneficial trade agreements, averting a war with North Korea that many claimed was inevitable and most recently, getting Mexico to put their military troops on their southern border to stop of flow of illegals passing thru Mexico to the U.S. border. This, and more, despite total opposition on every front by the Democrats.
Some of the news media carry stories of the tens of thousands of illegals overwhelming the capability of our border patrol. The hundreds of millions of our tax dollars being spent on this invasion is unreal....yet the Democrats refuse to assist in curbing the invasion of these law breakers. Without Democrat support in congress, the additional funds required for the border patrol to operate is denied.
We hear the Democrats say: ?NO ONE, not even the President of the United States, is above the law.? So why do they believe illegal aliens are?
The Democrats are so strongly against foreigners interfering in our elections (hence $20 million and two years spent on the Mueller Russia investigation) but are perfectly fine with giving illegals the right to vote?
Meanwhile, we elect, re-elect and pay the people in Congress who fail to protect us and secure the borders of the United States of America. In the private business sector, most members of congress would be fired in a heartbeat.

The government has no rights. Only the people have rights which empowers the government.
