I'm not much of a black powder guy but this is a pretty nice rifle. Apparently Browning made them back in the 1980's in three different calibers. This one in in .54 and I was told it was pure poison on deer. I hope to get it photoed and listed in the next few days.

I have a 45 Caliber with brass hardware that has taken dozens of deer and one Russian Boar.
Had a 50 Cal. With Brown hardware and sold it a while back.
My eyes dont allow me to shoot open rifle sights accurately any more.......

54 is my favorite cal in a BP rifle. I have 3 and I am itching to see this one.

I came across one nib a few years back at my LGS. After awhile I decided that I didn't need it and sold it here on gb. The great great grandson of JMB bought it.

I really like the 54 JBMR vs the 50 caliber! The 54 is a bit lighter to tote around the woods.

They are some of the best modern made black powder rifles. I have a .45, .50, and .54 with brown hardware. Still looking for nice brass hardware ones.
