Man if this gun could talk. A 1930's Motorcycle cop's pistol. I will say one thing when it came to arming them the PD didn't scrimp. I wonder what kind of Bike he was on, probably an Harley or Indian maybe even a Henderson.

No helmet just a Hat, no radio or back up just a 44 spl................

    It?s a lanyard loop to attach the revolver to the belt. A really cool 5 screw and the 5? barrel makes it even better. The 44 special is a very accurate round with a lot of killing power.

    I thought the same thing, 5" Barrel, 5 screw relocated SSN with factory installed Lanyard loop. Neat!

    I bet they wore Sam Brown Belts, maybe even flap holsters with the lanyard going up to the right epaulet or around the neck like a RCMP in the old days.

    The gun is in great shape considering how old it is and was a duty weapon exposed to the elements in RI.
