wife and I went to a local camp ground to meet up with youngest son and his in-laws
we left out , decided not to wait on the fireworks ( wife driving ) . I was not paying much attention she calls out what a idiot the car behind us tried to pass on a blind curve but ducked back in line just in time ( we were doing the speed limit by the way ) not 30 seconds or so later blind hill double yellow line the same car cut out to pass a bike and us same time . just as we topped the small rise a roll back truck coming the other way . wife yelled something like OH CRAP .. my wife headed for the ditch on our side as the truck was trying to find a path thru he came into our lane as much as he could trying to miss the car
by now the SUV driver must be crapping there paints ( right beside us and only feet from the grill of the truck ) she cut hard to the ditch but clipped the front of the truck barely avoiding a head on hit
it broke the front wheel and damaged the bumper of the truck as they hit
the impact spun her car a bit sideways which continued on to hit a power pole right into the drivers door ( cracked the pole bad with a transformer mounted lucky it did not fall )
we pulled over called 911 and I ran back to check on the driver by then she was out with the truck driver and people who lived right where it happened .
wife was scared and mad same time could not believe people are that dumb driving
lady driving the suv was banged up her leg had a small cut all the air bags had went off which saved her and no less along with the driving of my wife and truck driver avoiding a possible bad crash .
the driver also was now realizing what a dump * she was saying she was not drinking or drugs and could have killed someone including her self ,, well yes you could have )
the roll back she hit was a one of the local towing gas station service center trucks . we stayed to give our info along with the biker who was just behind us . the roll back driver could not thank us enought to reinforce his story I am sure .
so much luck was riding with the gal in the SUV a slight difference she would have been in bad shape most likly dead if hit head on or hit the pole dead on in place of a sliding glance .
she the SUV driver told me she had part of her skull replaced in a wreck at some point before .. all righty then :o:o:o

If only under such circumstances you were afforded the right to use a tazer or sambjock or sipo baton or cattle * or iced coffee enema or rubber hose or bag of oranges cast or iron skillet on the vacuous careless blathering inattentive bovine slack jawed odious room temperature IQ waste of space snowflake short bus sheeple until they learned their lesson so as not to continue endangering the lives of others or expired in great agony or possibly were flayed and skinned alive to defenestrate into a congealing red puddle...

Or is that perhaps a touch misanthropic and extreme and judgemental and a wee bit over the top???
well, the bag of oranges was, but the rest is understandable

50% of automobile accidents are caused by drunk drivers.
That means that the other 50% are caused by people who are stone cold sober!

Glad you made it through this trip safely S\F! I'm sure I'm not the only one that always says a little prayer before I start my car. Even if it's only to the corner store! I also say a thank you prayer when I get home.
