Who Believes In Ghost

When i was in the military i had orders to Turkey.

My furniture was already gone and we were staying in a hotel and went to the doctor my wife and i to get or last set of shots and we were leaving the next mourning.

After we got or shots the nurse asked my wife if she was pregnant and she told him yes. He should have known it was in her medical records.

He was a black man and turned into Casper the ghost. He left and came back and took us to see someone in charge of the hospital. They had us stay a few extra days while they decided on what to do.

They cancelled my orders because they were worried about our baby and the shot she was not supposed to get. They said if something was wrong with the baby they did not have adequate hospitals so they kept us stateside.

About 2 months later we were in a restaurant eating breakfast and a very old homeless looking lady came to our table and told us that our baby was going to be healthy and we were having a girl that would weigh 7 pounds and 14 ounces.

Another amazing thing was my wife was a small woman and was not showing very much at the time and while sitting down you could not tell she was pregnant.

Come to find out later the old lady had everything right even the weight.

So if there is good there has to be evil. Thats the way i look at it.

There is definitely something outside of self, humanity in general and beyond the way most have been taught to think from a very young age.
I call it the Holy Spirit and it has saved my bacon more than a few times. IMO many people are taught not to listen, using listen in a broad sort of way, the message isn't audio for me.
I remember going down into the basement and seeing my three-year-old daughter talking ardently to somebody. I get down the stairs and there is nobody there. I asked her who she was talking to, her answer was the man. I have no doubt there is something going on, I don't understand it or know the nature of it, I'm just convinced it exists. And most have been taught in ways that suppress it.

Certainly there is a spirit world. It is the light that guides us and gets us thru the dark places we cannot escape ourselves.

    Not everyone sees the light.

We are all like a radio receiver....some of us get better reception then others. Most of us don't pay much attention to our " inner " radio.

Not in the typical sense of 'ghosts' projected in movies.
The government has no rights. Only the people have rights which empowers the government.
We have enough gun laws, what we need is IDIOT control.
Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.

I thought getting old would take longer.

Dave, from your story it sounds like the only ghost you saw was that black doctor turning white! :) I have a similar military experience where my wife went into the base hospital for a check up and was given some pills to take. She didn't know it at the time but was actually pregnant in the early stages with what would have been our 2nd child. Those pills aborted the fetus.
Being young and naive (the both of us) didn't figure things out until years later.

Now that old lady on the other hand was what I would call a mystic. Not a big believer in the psychic abilities of people, but have met a few over the years who could see down the road that wasn't there yet.

my wife and I rented a house just after being married we lived ther about 4 or 5 years
I lost track of the weird thinks . shadows and movement sounds of people talking that would catch your attention noise's and nothing there when I went to look
I searched the house many nights after moving in carrying a pistol and flashlight . then we decided it must be just Caspar the friendly ghost our best guess . nothing bad happened but was creepy to say the least . we tossed in the towel as what ever did not cause no harm except loss of sleep and doubting your eyes and mind from all the events
we both woke up about 2:00 Am one night our bed room was bright almost like a light was on it was glowing so bright rest of the house dark , no reflections no cars or tucks dark night no bright moon no way to explain it . did my normal walk around of course nothing .
that was the only house we had so many unexplained events
I have seen odd ball things as most every one but that hose had to be a hot spot for activity
    so yes I do believe

It is ridiculous to believe that 3D (or 4D at best) beings that operate in an arena of 10 or more dimensions wouldn't have interactions with beings that operate in more than 3 or 4 dimensions, or that there would not be beings that operate in more than 3 or 4 dimensions.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I guess if you understood quantum physics and subscribed to the "String Theory" ghosts and other paranormal activity would make sense.

My oldest had an imaginary friend - The name was ?Jake Oats?. He was always called his imaginary friend by his first and last name.

Well my 16/17 year old niece comes to town and my son is telling her all about his friend Jake Oats.

Well she is a bored teenager so she really starts to research it.

Sure enough she finds an obituary for a child Jakob Oates. A deaf boy who was the child of German immigrants after the civil war. I forget exactly how old in the obituary but he was 7 or 8. My son had insisted Jake Oats was only a few years older than him- which would have lined up. Then we learned there was a large German immigration into Texas before and after the civil war.

Its been too long to remember the source but I recall some "experts" explaining why kids see and experience more "ghost" as they are open minded to every thing around them and have not been taught no such things exist or what people think if you talk about such things

A couple of months after my FIL passed away, I was in bed alone and my wife and her sister were at the movies with our kids. After I turned off the lights to get some sleep, I "felt or sensed" Luke was there with me. Not a sound from him, but I also felt him telling me to take care of his daughter and granddaughter. I said out loud, "You can bet on it!". I have never again sensed him near, but have kept that promise. :!:

An paranormal researcher appeared as a guest on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Johnny agreed to let her conduct an experiment with the audience.
She asked, "If you have seen a ghost - would you please stand."
    Most of the audience stood.

She then asked, "If you have ever had a conversation with a ghost, please remain standing, everyone else may sit."
About half the audience remained on their feet.

"If," She continued, "If you have ever had sex with a ghost, will you please remain standing."
Everyone sat down except one little man near the back of the theater.

"How many times would you say you have had relations with this ghost, sir?" The researcher asked.

The old man said, "GHOST? GHOST? I'm sorry, I thought you said GOAT!"
I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

uh no. the mind is capable of generating thoughts and visions of what one considers reality. to me, someone's ghost tales, is simply hallucinations.

This photo was taken back in March of 1974. It was a special wedding dinner for my new Mrs. & I at our old families farm homestead.

If you look closely in the upper left corner you may just make out a mystery wedding guest.

Not necessarily "ghosts" but certainly a presence. I've had several experiences with the feeling of a presence sometimes with some sort of message and sometimes silent.
After all these years, I never overlook or disregard those little "inklings" as most have a reason.
