The original 1951 movie. On at 7:00pm central tonight on TCM. One of my favorites.

Have you seen the vaguely related movie": What happened to Monday? It's a good watch. I am not much of an alien/sci-fi/post-apocalypic person but this was one of the better ones I have seen lately. I'll try to remember to record that tonight if I get home in time.

I do enjoy the old movies even limited special effects that stand out now
the new movies I am amazed at how real they can make the special effects seem , but hard to beat a old classic :D

That is a Sci-Fi grand slam right there.

    I liked both of them.

I was just a little kid when the first one came out. I used to have to get up and go to school on my own in the mornings because both my mom and dad left for work real early. It was still dark outside when I left the house to catch the bus and it was a bit scary. After I saw that movie it took me a while to not see visions of that big robot and the beam of light coming out of his head. :D

Remembered that all these decades from the 25 cent matinee.
TCM has had some of the old sci fi's from the 50's on lately.

I think mowing the yard in 100 degree heat is better than watching those kind of spoiled brats.

Pretty sure you can see what my "handle," is. (If you care to.)

Old classics like Cassablanca, Gone with the wind, and others like mentioned here. Never get old.

Hollywierd like many of the no talent actors today. Are all flash and not content.

Politicians are also today. Do like I say but not as I do as the pedofiles emerge.
