I got the birthday card in the mail today. Thank you so very much!! Totally unexpected and out of the blue.
You may be as 'old as dirt' as you claimed in the card, but you, my friend, have a heart of gold!
If you ever get up this way you would be more than welcome to share my campfire.

    He has sent me several cards ect. Quite the guy. I f you are ever in southern, IL and want to break bread AQH and actually anyone else is welcome. Possum is always on the menu! :lol::lol::lol::D

    NeoBlackdog - glad your mail service works - the rural carrier here leaves some to be desired. Delivered an international package to me - didn't have my name - not my address and a city in Pennsylvania. Fortunately there was a phone number - called the person - he said USPS tracking said it was delivered but he didn't have it. I told him I would put it a different clasp envelope and mail it to him.

    Grasshopper - I have not ever seen possum cooked that didn't taste like rancid grease - even ruined the sweet potatoes. But if racoon hash and nutria hash is on the menu and I am ever in the area - I will drop in.
