I guess first my thoughts go out to the LEO and the girls family another obvious suicide by cop . he had no option from what I seen butto make sure he was going home that night
but it did look like he ( officer ) had to tap the pistol in back into placeand under stress I give him credit for that .

Hmmmm. Apparently another example of an ?imperfect ? glockenspiel. :o

Luckily the officer was well adapt at clearing examples of imperfections.

Prayers to everyone involved. Such a waste.

it's a Gen4 with the bigger mag release. he's left handed, and I don't think I saw the button reversed to the left hand configuration. either it was and he accidentally pressed it or it wasn't and it got pressed by his shooting hand. that's my guess

yep. here is a G23 Gen4 with fully seated mag. two reasons:

    1) positive engagement when you hit the mag
    2) plenty of room, along with the half-round cutout in the backstrap, to pull on a stuck mag

The family's grease ball attorney says it all...a suspect, facing an officer in a shooting stance, with a gun her hands pointed at the officer, but that's not enough for them to exonerate the officer...WTFever....
