Have had heavy thunderstorms last couple days. Very heavy rain,wind driven,with the thunder and lightning.

    seems like we had our rainy spell...a few days slow down on wheat harvest ..most all done now....next week home 100* and above...d r y...lake place reports LOTS of rain

    Our summer T-storms are usually high-base and dry. Any rain evaporates before it hits the ground because the surface air is so dry. The real result is numerous wildfires from the lightning - and no rain to put it out. Had one last night - wind, and thunder only.
