I bet the ammo cost an arm and leg and the weight of it would be prohibited for a foot soldier to carry in the field.I wonder if you shot 5 at one time it could defeat body armor by killing the person through just shock or making the shooter shoulder to become useless over time or both?

Martin grew weary of dealing with jams, and reloading individual rounds into magazines. One day, after preparing a new box of ammunition for reloading, Martin conceived the idea for a firearm that enabled the entire ammo block to be slid into the magazine, streamlining the reloading process. Martin also intended for the design to effectively address overheating and jamming. To accomplish this, almost every aspect of firearm design had to be reinvented.

nah, the 5 rounds per solid block, that doesn't move, require 5 barrels to get going downrange. whatever time is saved from fiddling with the ammo is more than wasted fiddling with maintenance on 5 barrels.

if the block is made to move, that's not much different than the operation of a regular magazine. plus extra parts to mess with, spent blocks ejecting and laying around blah blah.

he wold have spent his time much better trying to come up with an efficient magazine loader.

I'll make a spot on my ammo shelf for that...

...right next to the Gyro-jet, Daisy Vl caseless ammo, Remington Electrox, and the plastic case 5.56 ammo.

This looks to be a complicated solution in search of a problem.

And you made me look. I still have a box of the PCA 5.56 ammo made by Natec. Bob
